Radisson Hotel Group and MBD Group have entered into a long-term Master Franchise Agreement to support the expansion of Radisson Collection and Radisson RED brands across India. The agreement covers mutually agreed locations across key markets.
Under the agreement, MBD Group will support business development, management, and franchising for both brands. At the same time, Radisson Hotel Group will continue to expand Radisson Collection and Radisson RED in India through additional partnerships and independent development initiatives.
The partnership follows Radisson Hotel Group’s global brand standards and governance framework. It focuses on growing the group’s luxury and lifestyle hotel presence in India. The development plan includes managed, franchised, and selectively owned properties. In addition, the strategy follows an asset-light approach and prioritises locations based on feasibility and mutual agreement.
As part of the collaboration, Radisson Blu MBD Hotel Noida will transition to Radisson Collection MBD. The hotel will undergo a planned upgrade in line with Radisson Collection brand standards. This transition supports Radisson Hotel Group’s broader plan to strengthen its premium portfolio in India by repositioning existing hotels and developing new properties under Radisson Collection and Radisson RED.
Overall, the agreement builds on the existing relationship between Radisson Hotel Group and MBD Group. It also complements Radisson Hotel Group’s ongoing expansion plans in the Indian market.
