Her Excellency Aishath Azeema hosted a high tea at Taj Palace New Delhi in honour of Her Excellency Iruthisham Adam during her official visit to India.

The gathering brought together leading travel agents, tour operators actively promoting the Maldives, and distinguished members of the travel media fraternity. The event served as an opportunity to strengthen engagement between the tourism stakeholders of both nations while reaffirming the longstanding ties between India and the Maldives.

Marking her first official visit to India since assuming office, Minister Iruthisham Adam shared that her meetings with India’s External Affairs Minister and Commerce Minister had been highly fruitful and constructive. Addressing the audience, she expressed optimism about the future of bilateral relations, noting that tourism movement between the two countries is expected to witness significant growth.
