EgyptAir hosted a curated product showcase and networking evening in Jalandhar on April 10, bringing together over 100 key travel trade stakeholders from across Punjab. Timed ahead of Baisakhi, the engagement focused on strengthening relationships, sharing future growth plans, and recognising partners who have contributed to the airline’s regional success. The event was led by Amr Aly, Country Manager, EgyptAir, who is on a multi-city visit across Punjab, along with Rajat Chadha, Sales Manager. Both highlighted Punjab’s continued importance as a high-potential outbound market across leisure, business, and VFR segments, and reaffirmed EgyptAir’s commitment to deepening its presence through direct engagement and long-term partnerships.

During the evening, EgyptAir outlined key initiatives including its Stopover Paid by Carrier (STPC) programme offering complimentary hotel stays for transit passengers, a limited-period 30 per cent fare benefit, and a complimentary two-hour Nile River cruise for tickets issued in April 2026. The airline also spotlighted growing India–Egypt synergies across tourism, cinema, and trade, particularly highlighting opportunities in the textile sector between Punjab and Egypt’s El Mahalla El Kubra hub. Reinforcing its positioning beyond aviation, EgyptAir emphasised its focus on building cultural and economic connections, supported by over 90 years of legacy, with plans to further expand its engagement across the Indian market.
