OA Globe DMC partnered with The Ritz Carlton Baku, JW Marriott Absheron Baku and AHG Hotels & Resorts to host two trade networking events in Ahmedabad and Mumbai, reinforcing Azerbaijan’s focus on the Indian outbound travel market. The events brought together tour operators, MICE planners, wedding specialists and other travel professionals to explore business opportunities and strengthen industry partnerships.

Held on 2 July in Ahmedabad and 7 July in Mumbai, the engagements enabled Indian travel partners to interact directly with destination experts and hotel representatives while gaining insights into Azerbaijan’s tourism offerings. The participating hospitality brands showcased accommodation and event facilities suited to leisure holidays, destination weddings, incentives, corporate travel and MICE. Alongside Baku, they highlighted destinations such as Shahdag and Sheki, encouraging travel beyond the capital.

The initiative builds on OA Globe DMC’s ongoing efforts to increase Azerbaijan’s visibility in India through roadshows, destination presentations and familiarisation trips for the travel trade.
