Madhya Pradesh steps up tourism investment drive at MPTM 2026

Madhya Pradesh is stepping up its tourism investment push, with Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighting the state’s natural, wildlife, heritage and spiritual tourism potential at MP Travel Mart 2026 in Bhopal. The state government reiterated its commitment to facilitating investment through transparent policies, expedited approvals and a single-window system.

Several MoUs were signed during the event covering tourism infrastructure, heritage conservation, skill development and film tourism. A major MoU with A.R.M. Foods Pvt. Ltd. involves an investment of INR 848.40 crore in Ramgarh, Sehore, for a golf course, hotel villas, wellness resort and luxury hotel projects, expected to create 920 direct jobs.

One-to-one meetings with tourism investors also generated significant proposals across hospitality and wildlife tourism. Atmosphere Group proposed investments of INR 500 crore across Ujjain, Indore and key wildlife circuits, while Renny Group discussed investments exceeding INR 290 crore across Mandu, Khajuraho, Sidhi and Maihar. Other proposals included luxury wildlife resorts in Satpura, Kanha, Kuno, Pench, Bandhavgarh and Panna.

MoUs and proposals also focused on film tourism, food tourism, MICE and adventure tourism. Letters of Award were presented for resort, heritage hotel, eco-tourism and wayside amenity projects across several districts, signalling a broader push to expand tourism infrastructure and investment opportunities across the state.
