Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited (SHRL) has reported its strongest quarterly performance to date for the first quarter of FY27, recording its highest-ever revenue, EBITDA, Profit Before Tax (PBT), and operating free cash flow. The company said the results reflect continued momentum across its expanding resort portfolio and the sustained strength of India’s leisure travel market.

According to the company, growth was supported by healthy occupancy levels, improved average room rates, and rising demand for experiential and destination-led holidays. Sterling has been expanding its presence across key leisure destinations in India, with a focus on resorts that cater to family, wellness, and adventure travellers.

The record quarterly performance also highlights the resilience of domestic tourism, which has remained a major driver of growth for the hospitality sector. Strong operating cash flow is expected to support future expansion, product upgrades, and investments across the portfolio.

Industry observers view the results as a positive indicator for the broader leisure hospitality segment, as travellers continue to prioritise longer stays, curated experiences, and resort-based vacations. Sterling’s performance underscores the growing opportunities within India’s rapidly evolving travel and tourism landscape.
