Singapore recorded more than 600,000 Indian visitor arrivals between January and June 2026, reaffirming India’s position as a key tourism market. Tourism receipts from India reached S$374 million in Q1 2026, an 8% year-on-year increase and the highest growth among all source markets.
The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) is strengthening its India strategy through strategic partnerships, targeted campaigns and new destination experiences. Its collaboration with MakeMyTrip includes a pan-India campaign promoting hotel stays and holiday packages, while initiatives are also being expanded across leisure, travel trade and MICE segments.
“India’s consistent performance is particularly meaningful given the global headwinds the travel industry has had to navigate in recent times. It is a testament to the strong relationships we have built with Indian travellers, our airline partners and the travel trade over the years,” said Markus Tan, Regional Director (India, Middle East, South Asia & Africa), Singapore Tourism Board.
Singapore is also seeing strong momentum in MICE and cruise tourism, with Disney Adventure broadening its appeal to families and corporate groups. New attractions including Rainforest Wild Adventure, Exploria and the transformed Singapore Oceanarium are adding fresh reasons to visit, while STB continues engaging younger travellers through cultural collaborations and digital campaigns.
